Little Miss BBQ

If you think BBQ is only popular in Texas and Tennessee, then you are so mistaken because Arizonans love themselves some BBQ. And do you know who loves BBQ more than Arizonans? Phoenicians that's who. Ribs, brisket, steak, they love anything you can throw on a grill. But they especially love it when it is from Little Miss BBQ. And for good reason, Little Miss is delicious. Located at 4301 E University Dr, Phoenix, AZ 85034.

Rock Springs Café

If you want to make the long drive to the Grand Canyon a little more enjoyable, then you must hit up Rock Springs Café. This iconic restaurant has been helping customers get through the drive for over 100 years. They serve all kinds of comfort food, but they are most known for their homemade pies. The Jack Daniels Pecan Pie is their best seller and it is amazing. Located at 35900 Old Black Canyon Hwy, Black Canyon City, AZ 85324.

Different Pointe of View

If you want to see why Phoenix is known as The Valley, then this is a must-dine restaurant. Different Pointe of View gives you an amazing view of Phoenix's twinkling lights and beautiful environment. This is a perfect spot for date night, girls night, or even an unwind night. Seafood and steaks are always my go-to at this one-of-a-kind restaurant. Located at 11111 N 7th St, Phoenix, AZ 85020.

Barrio Cafe

If you want to try a true Phoenix staple, then you have to go to Barrio Cafe. This iconic establishment has been a Phoenix icon for almost 20 years. They serve some of the most authentic Mexican cuisine in the entire state. I love all their food, but their Carne Asada Tacos have always been my favorite. Located at  2814 N 16th St #1205, Phoenix, AZ 85006.

Ocotillo

Whenever I have no motivation to get up, I just think about going to brunch at Ocotillo, and all of a sudden, I am wide awake. All their classic brunch dishes always make me feel like I need to order the entire menu. They offer everything from eggs to barbecue ribs. I always lean to the breakfast side and get the French Toast. It is pretty unbelievable. Located at 3243 N 3rd Street Ac, Phoenix, AZ 85012.

Bobby-Q

When talking about iconic BBQ joints, there is no way Bobby-Q doesn't get some love. Bobby-Q vs. Little Miss BBQ, a fierce BBQ rivalry for the crown of the  best BBQ joint in Phoenix. They are both fantastic, but my vote has to go to Bobby-Q. They make ribs and steak like no other joint does in The Valley. Located at 8501 N 27th Ave, Phoenix, AZ 85051.

Los Olivos

It is obvious how much Phoenicians love their Mexican food, but Los Olivos is more than a Mexican restaurant to them. To them, it is a tradition, a staple. Out of all the terrific Mexican restaurants in The Valley, Los Olivos has to be one of the most iconic ones. They serve some of the most authentic Mexican cuisine In Phoenix. I love all their food, especially their Fajitas and Tacos. Located at 7328 E 2nd St, Scottsdale, AZ 85251.

Durant's

I know this restaurant is called Durant's, but snake is not on the menu. But do you know what is on the menu? Steak and not just any steak, incredible steak. Durant's offers some of the best steaks in all of Arizona. My favorite is their New York Strip, but all their steaks are to die for. Located at 2611 N Central Ave, Phoenix, AZ 85004.

Cocina Madrigal

I already know what you are probably thinking, "OMG, another Mexican restaurant!" YES, last one though, I promise. But this is not just some regular Mexican restaurant. This establishment serves authentic Sonoran-style Mexican food. The perfect blend between Arizona food and Mexican food. Though they have an amazing menu, I love their Chicken Enchiladas; they are unmatched. Located at  4044 S 16th St, Phoenix, AZ 85040.

El Chorro

If you're one of those people who prioritizes ambiance over food, then this place is just for you. This restaurant offers some of the best views in all of Phoenix. Great views with great food, what can get much better than that. I love going to brunch here for the food, but I love going to dinner here for the views. Either way, you are guaranteed a great experience. Located at 5550 E Lincoln Dr, Paradise Valley, AZ 85253.
